Thanks, I like the sledgehammer idea as well, I hate these machines. Then we switched to Ecolab (my.ahem, former employer) and that problem went away. Several years ago, they were using Swiffer (I think?) products and the machines were always a horrid mess. We did have a machine giving us one of those codes once with a water source Y-strainer that had become clogged.Ī little off topic, but speaking of scum & limescale. We haven't had any drain valve problems yet (knock on wood). Given the presence of scum, limescale and such, that interpretation can often be skewed somewhat.

I forget what each code specifically means, but have come to realize that a good handful of them relate to how the controller's eyes (the water probes) are interpreted. If you notice water leaving the machine during wash cycle (not good) or if you do not notice water leaving just before the rinse cycle (not good). check your drain valve operation by observing the drain while the unit is in operation. I monitored the probe lights on the control board and saw that the top probe was proving water well before the water level ever reached it. This caused the wash pump to cavitate during the next wash cycle, with little if any wash water getting brought to the wash arms. However, following the first and all subsequent wash cycles, the wash tub was left short on water by just refilling to the bottom probe (the rinse cycle replenishes the water). In my circumstance, the machine would do a proper initial fill. Well lo & behold! I give you that info first thing this morning and, in turn, I had to go replace that double probe assembly on a machine MYSELF today.
